Assaulted The city police on Thursday registered a case against Ramsinh alias Dug Dug Morsinh, a resident of Sadar, for assaulting Ramnarayan Pathak with iron rods and injuring him. Pathak, a resident of Varasia, complained to the police that Ramsinh was stealing petrol from an autorickshaw belonging to one Shiv Bahadursinh and when he objected to it the accused assaulted him.Vehicle thefts Two cases of vehicle-thefts were reported in the city in the past 24 hours. In the first case, Pareshbhai Rathwada, a resident of Gayatri Krupa Society, complained that his Bajaj Super scooter (GJ 6 N 4321) worth Rs 10,000 was lifted from Navrang Complex Society in Raopura area on Wednesday. In the second case, Mahendrabhai Patel, a resident of Race Course, complained that his Maruti car (GVP 564) worth a lakh had been stolen from the compound of his bungalow.
