CHANDIGARH, Aug 20: The Punjab MPs and MLAs have been allowed the use of red light on their vehicles.
CHANDIGARH, Aug 20: The Punjab MPs and MLAs have been allowed the use of red light on their vehicles.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the council of ministers here last night. Their escort vehicles would also carry red light. A notification is being issued for this purpose.It was decided to recruit doctors on contract and the posts of the PCMS doctors are being taken out of the purview of the Punjab Public Service Commission for this purpose.
It was also decided to create a new sub-division with headquarters at Dera Bassi. The council of ministers approved the absorption of CRPF officer Amrita Brar in Punjab police.
