With this win, OLS entered the quarter-finals with 12 points in the Colgate-Palmolive sponsored Inter-Schools under-12 Division II C football league.

Majeed put the Dadar school ahead in the middle of first half when his curling shot found the roof of the net. OLS made a number of inroads afterwards but could not get the second until the latter part of second-half. Edwin D'Souza's forceful strike off a melee gave no chance to the St Mary goalkeeper.

St Mary's B also lost, to Antonio D'Silva by a solitary goal.

The all important goal came late in the second-half when St Mary's goalkeeper dropped the ball and Akshay Khamkar made no mistake.
