Dalal, Bhateri shine
Kamaljeet Dalal (Karnal) and Ram Bhateri (Jind) took the honours in the Haryana State Swimming championship, held recently in New Delhi.
Kamaljeet was declared the best swimmer (men) while Ram Bhateri walked away with the crown in the women's section.
Rajesh, Ritu Kashyap, Ishwar Singh, Kirandeep Kaur, Abhinav and Rupali were the other swimmers to excel in their categories.
AAAC election
The Amateur Athletic Association, Chandigarh will hold election on September 5, this was unanimously decided in the general council meeting of AAAC held today.
