MUMBAI, SEPT 2: India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), a joint venture company of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Credit Rating Information Services of India Ltd (Crisil), has announced several changes in the NSE index related shares effective from October 7 next.The index maintenance sub-committee of IISL today decided to include Infosys Technologies Ltd, NIIT Ltd, Bank of India, Smithkline Beecham Consumer Healthcare, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, Proctor & Gamble India Ltd and Cipla in the S&P CNX Nifty, an IISL release here said.
In the CNX Midcap 200 index, India Aluminium Company Ltd, ICICI Banking Corp Ltd, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Ingersoll Rand India Ltd, Indian Rayon and Industries Ltd, Sundaram Finance Ltd, Industrial Finance Corp Of India, Sterlite Inds India Ltd, Asian Paints India Ltd, Cochin Refineries Ltd, Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd, George Williamson Assam Ltd and Duncan Inds Ltd have been included, while Hamco Mining & Smelting Ltd, NIIT Ltd, Infosys Technologies Ltd,Wipro Ltd, Prakash Inds Ltd, Birla VXL Ltd, Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd, Chemplast Ganmar Ltd, Ion Exchange India Ltd, Tata SSL Ltd, Woolworth India Ltd, Siv Inds Ltd and JK Inds Ltd have been excluded.
In the CNX Indian business groups index, Vam Organic Chem Ltd, Universal Cables Ltd, L G Balakrishnan Ltd, Kirloskar Pneumatics Co Ltd, Ceat Financial Services Ltd, Tata Elxsi Ind Ltd and Premier Auto Elect Ltd have been included and Southern Iron & Steel Co Ltd, Sterlite Computers Ltd, Anagram Finance Ltd, Boehringer Manhein Ltd, Modipon Ltd, Rane (Madras) Ltd and Engine Valves have been excluded.
