MUMBAI, Sept 2: A goal by sharp-shooter Mathaias Coutinho helped Holy Family A (Andheri) to shock fancied last year's runners-up St Francis D'Assisi A (Borivli) 1-0 in the under-12 I quarter-finals of the Inter-School football championship, sponsored by Colgate Palmolive, at the MSSA-Castrol Schools Sports Centre, Azad maidan today.

In another match at the same venue, Jamnabai Narsee A (Juhu) got the better of Sacred Heart (Santa Cruz) through a goal each by Soumit Ghosh and Sasha Contractor in the under-12 III play-off encounter.

Wasim Mulla was the day's highest scorer with four goals to his credit. His fine display saw ANZA (Byculla) trounce Anjuman Allana 7-0 in an under-14 III play-off tussle at the St Xavier's ground, Parel.

The other noteworthy scorer was Shailesh Chougle. He scored three as St Dominic Savio B (Andheri) trounced St John's (Marol) 5-2 in an under-12 III play-off on their homeground.
