An unbroken sixth-wicket stand of 140 between former Railway players Vinod Sharma (61: 37 balls, 7x4, 1x6) and Devender Singh (80: 65b, 7x4, 2x6) helped Railway Officers' XI beat India Today XI by 44 runs in a day-night match at Karnail Singh Stadium. Vinod Sharma also took two brilliant catches to earn the man of the match award.

Railway Officers' XI: 184 for 5 (Devender Singh 80 not out, Vinod Sharma 61 not out, Sameer 2 for 14).India Today XI: 140 (Santosh 51, Mathew John 3 for 43).

Salwan volleyball
Bal Bharati Public School and SVD Jorbagh scored victories over their opponents on the opening day of the Salwan inter-school (girls) volleyball tournament. Bal Bharati beat New Horizon 15-12, 15-10 and SVD defeated American Embassy School 15-10, 15-1.

Target triumph
Target Club and Shivani Public School won the men's and women's team championship titles, respectively, in the Delhi State Arm Wrestling Championship held at D I Khan School, Rajinder Nagar. D I Khan School and GHPS Karol Bagh won the junior boys and sub-junior boys titles.

Vibhor, Mohit excel
Vibhor Mittal (51) and Mohit Singh (4 for 30) helped City Boys Academy beat Gold Star Acedmy by 114 runs at Paschim Vihar sports complex.

City Boys Academy: 214 for 8 (Vibhor Mittal 51, Maninder Singh 41, Ayush 31, Santokh Singh 3 for 19). Gold Star Academy: 100 (Sumit 30, Pankaj 25, Mohit Singh 4 for 30, Maninder Singh 2 for 15).

Medium pacers Ganesh Bamrana (5 for 30) and Dushyant Dondiyal (4 for 24) helped Uttarakhand Club beat Friends Club by 10 runs to enter the semifinal of Rajeev Gandhi memorial tournament at Pushp Vihar.

AHQ Signals win
AHQ Signals defeated LP Club 59-32 in the 38th Royal Club Basketball Tournament. In another match CRPF beat IAF 63-62.
