VADODARA, Sept 8: After more than 300 displays in over 10 cities across the country over the last 13 years, the Bombay Book Bazar will now showcase its collection in the city from Wednesday. An unusual feature of this exhibition, however, will be popular book titles available in the form of CD-ROMs.Nearly 50,000 books published by leading Indian and Foreign publishers will be on display, including over 700 titles on computer science. The other titles will cover miscellaneous subjects such as management, art, interiors, fashion, cookery, gardening, health, literature, fiction, reference guides and also a wide range of dictionaries.
A special attraction of the exhibition will be the nine-volume package of Oxford Children's Encyclopedia priced at Rs 2,500 as against the original cost of Rs 5,500. Substantial discounts will be offered against all purchases made.
The exhibition will run till September 20 in the basement of Manubhai Towers, opposite the Faculty of Arts, M S University, Sayajigunj. It will remain open on all days from 10 am to 8.30 pm.
