India gears up to face the threat posed by the terminator gene
Scientists are working on methods to detect plant material containing the deadly terminator gene when it comes to India. ``Scientists are fully aware of the potential risks of the terminator gene technology and are examining various issues involved,'' Dr Manju Sharma, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology (DBT), said.
