Three naxals, cope killed in AP encounters

HYDERABAD, SEPT 10: Three naxalites of the outlawed Peoples' War Group (PWG), including a woman, and a police constable were killed in three separate encounters in Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Srikakulam districts of Andhra Pradesh early today.During a combing operation, police had surrounded an extremist hide-out near Chadnal village in Nizamabad district and asked the ultras to surrender. Instead, the ultras, belonging to Banswada Dalam, opened fire at the police party. In the return fire, two extremists, including a woman, were killed, police said.
