Burns death
One Reshamben Indravadan alias Ishwarbhai Shantilal Solnaki, a resident of Pensionpura Harijanvas, behind Vishranti Hotel, who had sustained severe burn injuries caused by fire due to LPG leakage in her house recently, died in SSG Hospital on Thursday. The Fatehgunj police has registered a case of accidental death.Liquor seized
The police conducted 10 raids at various places on Wednesday and seized 174 litres of country liquor worth Rs 3,480 and 22 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 3,600 and arrested 14 people in the connection.
One run over
Geeta D'Costa, a resident of Chiman Tekra area of the city, was crushed to death when she was run over by a recklessly driven truck at around midnight on Wednesday. According to the police, Geeta was standing opposite her house, when a truck (GJ 2 U 8976) ran over her, killing her on the spot.
