CHANDIGARH, Sept 11: Delegates from various parts of the country are taking part in the third party congress organised by the Marxist Communist Party of India (MCPI) here.Punjab secretary of the party Kuldip Singh in a statement has said, delegates are discussing the report placed by the general secretary of MCPI. The draft political resolution was placed in the congress by Comrade Sudhir Bhatacharya, gen secy of MCPI, which touches international and national solutions, burning problems of working people throughout the world and in India.
The delegates elected presidium consisting of Comrade M. Omkar of Andhra Pradesh, Comrade Jagjit Singh Lyalpuri of Punjab, Comrade M.H. Krishnappa from Karnatak, Comrade Umashanker from Uttar Pradesh and Comrade Ibrahim from Rajsthan.
