Chandigarh will start their campaign in the tourney against Fatehgarh Sahib on September 24 and 25 at the DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8 ground.

Among the probables is all-rounder Vikram Sodhi, who had toured England with the Indian Schools team recently.

The probables are to report at the DAV School ground on September 12 for the combined camp of the team, according to Mohinder Singh, secretary Chandigarh Cricket Association. Other members of the team are: Vikram Sodhi, Jaisreet Singh, Gaurav Mehta, Dharamvir, Vipul, Samrat Dogra, Gaurav Thapial, Jagmohan, Nishant, Manpratap Singh, Simran, Manpreet Singh, Rajanbir Singh, Jagmit Singh, Sahil, Arshdeep Singh, Angush Sharma and Bhaskar Sharma.

Cricket tourney
Friends Cricket Club will organise the third Cash Prize cricket tournament from November 1 to 5 at Panchkula.

The matches will be played on knock-out basis.

Football meet
The National Schools football championship in the boys under-14 category will be held at Port Blair, according to BD Gandhi, secretary, School Games Federation of India (SGFI), the meet will be held in the last week of October.
