Party man

We have decided that Kishan Mulchandani, the owner of Palkhi, has become a professional party-thrower. Just last fortnight, he was all over the newspapers with the two (or was it three parties?), he hosted to celebrate his birthday. Well, he is back to his old ways again and last Tuesday, he helped Club Abyss throw a party. The occasion: the owner of the club was celebrating his birthday. And what a party it was! Among those who turned up were The Fashion Bar & Bistro's Nirmal and Chayya Momaya, Sushma Reddy, Anuradha Tandon, Sanjeev Choudhary and Manish Malhotra. And to make sure that the guests were in an instant party mood, upon entry, a tequilla shot was thrust into each guest's hand. With an introduction like that it came as no small surprise when the bar turned into the centre of attention, all night. And of course where there is a party there is always Arjun Khanna and Marc Robinson. With all the partying they do, when do they get a chance to pursue their day jobs?

Gettingcosy

Last Tuesday, model-cum-veejay Amrita Arora was spotted having a quiet lunch with singer Kamaal Khan at Bandra's Pizzeria. And while Kamaal spent a lot of time answering his mobile phone which wouldn't stop buzzing, Amrita seemed to be content with just sitting back, staring at him and giggling. That's a cosy scene, isn't it?

And finally...

MTV veejay Shernaz Treasurywalla has moved to Singapore. And no, it's not because she is getting married. It is just that MTV has decided that she needs more exposure. Her bubbly, vivacious style of presentation has already made her a big hit with the MTV generation and what with Rahul Khanna's sudden decision to quit -- perhaps the channel is hoping that Shernaz will be able to step into his shoes.
