Pandits okay Madonna's mantra diction
Madonna has finally found the right mantra. The pandits of this holy city are happy that the pop icon has heeded their advise and brushed up on her Sanskrit pronunciation.

Backyard "pests" on display
Glimpses of the insect world will be put on display at the Nehru Science Centre at Worli soon. The 45-day long exhibition "Giants from the Backyard" will include mammoth-sized models of insects and arthropods including a two-metre-long grasshopper sitting on a blade of grass; a metre-long caterpillar having a whale of a time on a giant cauliflower.

Over the edge
Fusion is in fashion, particularly in dance. And Jehangir Nicholson's favourite quote -- "Art has no boundaries, only edges" -- can also be applied to the dance performances that Mumbai has been treated to in the past few months.
