Super Division matches rained off

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, SEPT 17: Gulf Oil Super Division football matches at the Cooperage today were called off.

Unplayable ground conditions caused by heavy rains that lashed the city forced cancellation of the Bengal Mumbai Football Club (BMFC) versus Bank of India (BoI) and Air-India versus Central Railway matches.

However, the match commissioner's report cited referees not being available for the calling off the first match between BMFC and BoI. The officials' absence, in all probability, being caused by the dislocation of public transport services in the city by the weather.
