Mamta Modern in semi-finals
Mamta Modern School, Delhi became the last team to enter the semifinals of the Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium when they beat Donyi Polo Vidhya Bhavan, Arunachal Pradesh 2-0 in the last quarter-final match. Satish Singh and Deepak scored a goal each in the 23rd and 50th minute, respectively.

SRCC boys win
Sriram College beat Lady Shri Ram College 28-27 in the women's section of Captains' Basketball Tournament. St Stephen's downed J M College 40-39. In boys section, SRCC beat PGDAV 63-47.

Rajat shines
A fine knock of 59 by Rajat Khanna and equally useful batting by Utkarsh (58) and Ravish Gulati (40) and some fine bowling by Kunal Khurana (4 for 14) helped South Delhi Academy beat Krifit by 69 runs n the Maharaja Agarsen (u-17) tournament at Rohini sports complex.

South Delhi Academy: 232-9 (Rajat Khanna 59, Utkarsh Gautam 58, Ravish Gulati 40, Tapan Bose 3-30, Anuj Kumar 3-35, Himanshu 2-44). Krifit: 163 (Rahul 31, Jatin 28, Kunal Khurana 4-14).

Sonal hits 103
Sonal Gidwani's knock (103: 9x4, 6x6, 55b) went in vain as Modern School were beaten by 17 runs in their match against Saviour Convent in the radha Kishan memorial tournament at Rajouri Garden.

Seviour Convent: 256 for 3 (Rajat Jaswal 38, Rakesh 33, Subodh 56 not out, Mohit Sharma 70 not out) Modern: 239 for 7 (Sonal Gidwani 103, Sidharth 40, Mohit Sharma 2 for 35, Ravi Gautam 2 for 35).

NGF in final
New Green Field School beat Air Force Bal Bharati 47-26 to enter the final of Fr V C George basketball. APS beat Mount St Mary's 26-6 in junior boys.
