KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19: Shaun Pollock's devastating opening spell and some superlative fielding by South Africa dashed Steve Waugh's dream of winning the inaugural Commonwealth Games gold medal this afternoon. The stand-in skipper sent back Mark Waugh, Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting for just 12 runs which send Australia reeling at three for 28.
