Rhino Social

The Rotaract Club of Deonar is organising a social at the Razzberry Rhinocerous on the September 27, in the afternoon, from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm with the aim of rendering services through various activities and socialprojects.

It is a fund raising project for financing Rotaract social and community developement projects. They want to create an awareness for eye donations among today's youth to help the less fortunate among us to see the light. Be there for a good time and all for a cause.

Rotary Club of Bombay Andheri (E) and Bombay Uptown are organising a conference for Generation Y, called Challenges '98 tommorrow from 2:30 pm onwards. This event is co-ordinated by the Rotaract Club of Kemps Corner and and anyone between the ages of 18-25 can particpate.

On Saturday evening, the Cooch Behar Hall at the CCI, saw a large gathering of the media to cover an event launching www.channelbollywood.com, a website by Mitter Infotech. The CEO and founder of MI is a very young man, Nitish V Jain, a 19 year old student of Sydenham College.

Shammi Kapoor delighted his fans worldwide by chatting with them about himself and his life. He did so for 30 minutes whilst fans asked him questions like why does he wear a rudrashaka around his neck, and whether he will make a comeback...? He answered all questions enthusiastically.

The website already hasstuff like movie reviews, music of the week, star of the month, online chat, weekly e-mail newsletter, interactive Bollywood games, real audio, acting academies info and discussion areas. Schnell Hans, the international school of beauty, hair design and cosmetology will be conducting a unique eight session (four week) weekend workshop called `Finesse' from 9th October at its Colaba centre.

Some of the interesting topics covered are personal makeup, hairstyling, skin care, health and fitness and entertaining at home. Training will be imparted by a team of expert faculty from the industry headed by the International Director of Schnell Hans, Ms Sunita Motwani Makhija.
