The former chief minister struck a conciliatory note on a day when the State Assembly was debating the contentious Vananchal Bill, and two senior RJD ministers -- Akalu Ram Mahato and Mohammad Saba -- reportedly came out against him and vowed to support the Bill defying the party whip.

On his part though, Laloo put up a brave front and said he would make available all official records before the committee of chief ministers so that it could take an independent decision on the State Government's performance.

He also plans to call on President K R Narayanan tomorrow and formally lodge a complaint against Governor Sunder Singh Bhandari, whom he accused of ``conspiring with the Samata Party leadership to invoke Article356 in Bihar''.

Laloo also accused the BJP leadership, particularly Vajpayee and Home Minister L K Advani, of ``going against the BJP's election manifesto'' and asked them to re-read the document before taking a decision against his Government.

He said several senior politicians including Jyoti Basu, M Karunanidhi, Chandrababu Naidu, Prakash Singh Badal and Farooq Abdullah were against the dismissal of the Bihar Government, but the BJP Government was ``determined to throw out our Government''.
