Gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 13,900 were stolen from an unlocked cupboard from one Shantilal Manilal Patel's house, residing in Paadnagar Society on VIP Road on Sunday night, according to the Karelibaug police. In separate cases of vehicle thefts registered by the police on Monday, two vehicles were stolen from different parts of the city on Sunday. Arrested
The Makarpura police on Monday arrested three women in connection with dowry. According to details, a resident of Vijay Nagar in Tarsali in a compliant lodged in the police station had alleged that her in-laws were torturing her for not bringing dowry.
