Dharnas mark protest day
Hartal, dharnas and processions in different parts of the country today marked the observance of Protest Day by several Opposition parties against the Centre's recommendation for imposition of President's rule in Bihar. Addressing a rally in Patna on the occasion, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav termed the recommendation as ``undemocratic''.15 killed in HP bus accident
At least 15 persons were killed and one person was seriously injured when a private mini bus belonging to Dhani Ram, skidded off the road on the Mandi-Kullu National Highway and plunged into the Beas river, about 9 km from Mandi this afternoon.
