CHANDIGARH, Sept 25: The Chandigarh Administration has asked the Haryana government to send another panel for the post of deputy commissioner.The government had earlier sent its panel of IAS officers, of which T.C. Gupta's name had been approved for the post. Haryana later informed that Gupta's services could not be spared.
Meanwhile, the Centre has written to Punjab and the Chandigarh Administration about the approval of Dinkar Gupta's name for the post of Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh. Gupta is likely to be relieved by the Punjab government soon.
