FIs "bail-out" package for steel firms
Officials of leading financial institutions are meeting on Saturday to finalise the bail-out package for steel companies. The meeting is expected to work out reschedulement of loans extended to certain companies.

DoT revises bidding norms for basic services
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has proposed several changes in the licensing norms for the next round of bidding for basic services licences. These will include a licence period of 20 years, up from the present 15 year term of a licence.

P&G to bring Vicks products under one brand
The three prongs of Vicks, Procter & Gamble (P&G's) successful brand, are being unified by the domestic subsidiary of the US-based multinational giant under a single mega-brand, Vicks. Together, the three products under the Vicks name is worth around Rs 186 crore.
