FIPB nod for Caltex, Nagarjuna proposals
The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approved foreign investment totalling Rs 251 crore including proposals of the Nagarjuna group and Caltex on Saturday. The FIPB also cleared a joint venture between the Nagarjuna group, Hindustan Oil Exploration and the UK-based Hardy Oil to set up a liquid natural gas terminal in Andhra Pradesh.

Govt bid to put Tata airport plan on track
A three-member delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of Karnataka and the Tata consortium will thrash out the final modalities of the international airport proposed at Bangalore once the Tatas agree to the proposal being presented by the Karnataka government on Monday.

Honda plans new car for Indian roads
Honda Motor Company of Japan is planning to introduce a new car model in India to help to multiply its annual output 10-fold to 100,000 units, the head of its Indian joint venture, Teruo Fujisaki, said. Fujisaki said no decision had been taken on whether the new model will be in India's thriving small car segment.
