JOHANNESBURG, September 27: South Africa has named uncapped players Dale Benkenstein and Alan Dawson in their 14-man squad for a one-day tournament in Bangladesh from October 24 to November 1. Natal captain Benkenstein finally gets his call-up to the senior squad after captaining two under-24 and `A' tours to Sri Lanka.Western Province all-rounder Dawson is rewarded for his part in South Africa's gold medal winning performance at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. Free State left-arm spinner Nicky Boje, who shared a winning 35-run last wicket stand with Dawson to steer South Africa to an unlikely one-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the Games semifinal, is also included along with off-spinner Derek Crookes.
