Drive in Pune against illegal immigrants

PUNE, September 27: The foreigners' branch of Pune police have launched a major drive to find out the foreigners whose names have not been registered with the police immediately after their entry in Pune.A release issued by the foreigner's branch stated that as per the legal provisions the owners of all the lodges, hotels and houses must inform the foreigners branch officials about the client along with the details about his/her passport and visa branch within 24 hours of providing accommodation.
