CHENNAI, Sept 27: Scribes covering the familiar Poes Garden beat for a comment from BJP president Kushabhau Thakre on the outcome of his meeting with AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalitha on Sunday evening had a pleasant surprise.Crispy biscuits and a hot cup of tea -- good tea -- greeted them when they arrived drenched in the pre-monsoon showers at the gates of Jayalalitha's bungalow. The media was `grateful' at the gesture.
