In view of recent incidents of common man's violent reaction towards leaders, Vaghela said that people have become anti-BJP and this is high time for the RJP to expand its organisation to become the alternative of BJP in the State.

For this purpose the RJP has divided the State into five zones and different working groups have been set up to look into the matters of different zones. This decision was announced by State president Mistry. A committee of Mohamadbhai Phansiwala, Khumansingh Vansia and Motibhai Vasava, formed to prepare report on Bharuch Parliamentary by-election, was asked to submit its report within a week.

RJP leaders also came down heavily on BJP government for their failure in tackling situations during Surat floods. It was said in the meeting that many eminent persons would join the party soon.
