NEW DELHI, September 27: A fine unbeaten 149 by Agnesh Surya and a devastating spell of four for seven by left-arm spinner Ansul Lamba helped Govt. Sarvodyalaya Vidyalaya (Shankaracharya Marg) upset Modern School (Barakhamba Road) by a huge margin of 101 runs and enter the quarter-final of the Radha Kishan inter-school cricket tournament here today.In the second match of the tournament, Salwan Boys (A) team scored another big win, thrashing Summermal Jain School by 181 runs.
Salwan Boys made 227 for two with Chetan Sharma making 126 and Dilip unbeaten 80. In reply, Summermal Jain boys were bowled out for 46. Electing to bat, the government schoolboys piled on 200 for the loss of three wickets in their allotted 25 overs, thanks to a hard-hitting effort by Surya.
