Plans for rock garden, Glass House replica
MYSORE, Sept. 27: Bangalore city, rejoicing under the sobriquet of `garden city', will soon also have a rock garden along the lines of the one at Chandigarh. Mysore, not to be left behind, will be the pround venue of a replica of the historic Glass House at Lalbagh. State Horticulture Minister D T Jayakumar said Subbarayanakere, another historic site at Mysore, would be the venue for an annual horticulture show during the Independence Day celebrations henceforth.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
