Ganguly ton paves series success
Saurav Ganguly slammed his fifth one-day century as India defeated Zimbabwe by eight wickets to clinch the Hero Honda Cup series with a match to spare at the Queen's Club, Bulawayo yesterday. India made the required 236 runs in the 42nd over, Ganguly staying unbeaten on 107.

Henman snuffs out Indian hopes
Mahesh Bhupathi pulled off a consolation victory over Chris Wilkinson in the second reverse singles even as India lost 2-3 to England in their Davis Cup World Group play-off tie yesterday. Earlier, Paes lost the first reverse singles to Tim Henman 6-7 (3-7) 2-6 6-7 (5-7).

Imran asked to appear before panel
The judicial probe into match-fixing allegations in Pakistan cricket has taken an interesting turn with the one-man commission deciding to invite some of the touring Australian team members besides former skipper Imran Khan amidst denial by leading Pakistani players that they were involved in any such act.
