Prohibition dept strengthened

RAJKOT, Oct 1: Prohibition and Excise Minister Fakir Vaghela said here recently that the prohibition department has been given more teeth to tackle the influx of Indian made foreign liquor."The staff is being strengthened and provided arms. The department is also planning to start a propaganda against ills of consuming liquor," he said. Director of prohibition C J Gadhvi said the department had seized liquor worth Rs 14 crore.
