VCARE invites public opinion

VADODARA, Oct 4: Concerned over the increasing experiments on animals for medical research and human development, the Vadodara Centre for Animal Rescue and Emergency (VCARE) has invited views from public for and against the issue.A VCARE statement said though the issue was tricky, it was crucial as well as important for pharmacologists and animal welfare organisations. ``Therefore, we need a debate on it, beginning Sunday, which also is the World Animal Welfare Day'', the statement said, adding the views would prove helpful in formulating a proposal, to be sent to Union Ministry of Social Welfare and help it arrive at a sensible consensus in the context.
