CHANDIGARH, Oct 6: Ravinder Nain will lead the Chandigarh under-19 team in the Haryana Inter-District cricket tournament (under-19), according to Surinder Singh, secretary Chandigarh Cricket Association, affiliated to Haryana Cricket Association.Team: Ravinder Nain (capt), Gulab Rubani, Rajinder Chaudhary, Mandeep Sodhi, Ravinder Singh, Ishpreet Singh, Mukesh, Kamalpreet Singh, Abhishek Kapoor, Sumit Walia, Sanjay Rajpal, Amardeep, Amanav Asopa, Amit Sharma and Yadvinder Singh. Prabhjot to lead
Prabhjot Singh will lead the Mohali under-19 team in the Punjab Inter-District (under-19) cricket tournament, according to G S Walia, secretary, Mohali Cricket Association.

Schools cricket
The Shivalik Trophy for schools will begin tomorrow. Around 20 schools of the City are expected to participate in the tourney. The final will be held on October 17. The matches will be played at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium and Government Model Senior Secondary School, 23.

Vivek High win
Vivek High School, Sector 38, beat SD Public School, Sector 32 by 19 runs in the under-14 boys group in the Edmund Rice cricket tournament being played at St John's High School-26.
In another match, St Stephen's School-45 and St Kabir School-26 were tied as both the teams scored 104 runs each in the stipulated overs.
The teams will lock horns again on October 9 at 7.30 a.m., to enter the next round.
