Asked to comment on the murder of businessmen Bharat Shah in Mumbai on Thursday and the attack on a building contractor, M G Patel, yesterday, Joshi told reporters there were indications that gang wars were starting again.

``These killings in public places should also serve as a warning to those who take the help of the underworld for settling their business disputes'', he said.

Referring to the `bhagwa saptah' (saffron week) being celebrated after a gap of 12 years, Joshi said the objective was to remind Shiv Sainiks that social work was more important than politics. The party was launching an enrolment drive during the week, he said.
