NEW DELHI, OCT 11: Sahib Singh said on Saturday that he was upset that the decision to remove him was taken in ``haste''.``I do not know what was the hurry in taking such a decision. At least they (the party leadership) should have talked to me before deciding the matter,'' he said.
He said though he was called for a meeting at the Prime Minister's house in the afternoon, no decision was taken to remove him. After talking to the leaders, he left the meeting assuring them that he would be available as and when they would call him.
He was not called back ``unfortunately'' and the decision to remove him was taken in his absence, he said.
Sahib said: ``I did not expect that they (the party leaders) would take such a decision without taking me into confidence.''
He also raised doubts on whether the change of leadership in Delhi at this stage would help the party in the polls.``Is se cheezen kuch badal jayengi, aisa mujhe nahin lagta (I do not think that the situation will change because of thisdecision),'' he said. Saying that he was starting a new chapter in his political career, Sahib said, he will do whatever was possible for him to help the party at the hustings.
