SHANGHAI, Oct 12: India's world number three pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes today stunned the top-ranked duo of Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde to lift the Shangai Open ATP doubles title.The Indians defeated the top-seeded Australians 6-4, 6-7 (7-2), 7-6 (7-4) to notch up their first win over the famed pair, in four attempts, in a gripping two-hour and 46 minutes.
Rain in the morning foreshadowed a second postponement of the final, originally scheduled for Sunday, but play finally went ahead under cloudy skies.
