Abduction
Pradyumal Ramanlal Bhatt, a resident of Lankulesh locality, has lodged a complaint with the Panigate police station alleging that one of his neighbours, Kaushik Hasmukh Patel, has kidnapped his 17-year-old daughter with an immoral purpose. The complainant alleged that Patel had lured away the minor girl by giving her assurances. The case is being investigated.Assault
Vijay Harishchandra Kshatriya, a resident of Danteshwar locality, has complained to the Makarpura police that three persons of his locality had assaulted him with ironbars and batons accusing him of teasing the wife of one Prabhat Solanki. The police has registered an offence against the three, including Prabhat.
Two drown
Surat: Two persons drowned in different villages of the Mandvi and Vyara talukas of the district, the district police control room said. In both the cases, the youths drowned after they slipped and fell into rivers while bathing, the police added.
