NAGAR, Oct 13: Vikramjit Sodhi's unbeaten ton and his 100-run seventh-wicket partnership with Sanjay Dhull helped Chandigarh to be in a comfortable position against Jalandhar on the first day of the two-day Punjab Inter-District cricket for the Dhruve Pandove Trophy quarterfinal here at the PCA Stadium today.In reply to Chandigarh's first innings score fo 336 for 8, Jalandhar were 14 for no loss when stumps were drawn.
Vikram slammed ten boundaries in his knock of 103 n.o. but for his partnership with Sanjay Dhull (38) Chandigarh would have been in a precarious position.
Deepak Thakur (39) and Anurag Sharma (35) were the other scorers for Chandigarh.
