DHARAMSALA, Oct 15: The striking students of Tanda Medical college today resorted to traffic jam in the morning hours as they were disallowed to sit on hunger strike outside the office of deputy commissioner.
The students had shifted their venue of dharna from zonal hospital compound to the DC office yesterday. The district authorities, however, got their tent dismantled last night. The protesters raised slogans against the callousness of the state government and lack of concern of the Kangra administration towards their problem.
In a statement, they condemned the Kangra DC for calling the ``students' strike unjust.'' The students said, ``The reality is that none is bothered about our future. But we will not withdraw agitation unless steps are taken to improve the things at the college.
