CBI officials question Laloo for six hours
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Laloo Prasad Yadav was subjected to a marathon six-hour interrogation by the CBI in a disproportionate assets case of the multi-crore fodder scam.
Cong, BSP joint bid to defeat BJP in MP
The Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party are considering a novel mode of cooperation in Madhya Pradesh to defeat the BJP. It is not to be an "alliance", nor a "seat adjustment". Nor will there be "friendly contests", if such a thing is at all possible.
India rejects Pak plan for non-aggression pact
India has emphatically rejected a Pakistani proposal for a non-aggression pact since it was based on the resolution first of the Jammu & Kashmir dispute. The Pakistani proposal was made during the recent Foreign Secretary-level dialogue between the two countries.
