Onion prices touch Rs 100!

AGRA, OCT 22: The price of onions soared to Rs 100 a kilogramme here today, though the quality of the vegetable left much to be desired. As the quantity of onions was small, the stock got exhausted by afternoon.Only dried and nearly-rotten onions were being sold at Rs 60 a kg, a PTI correspondent found during his visit to the vegetable market.
