50 pouches of liquor recovered; two arrested

CHANDIGARH, Oct 21: The City police have recovered 50 pouches and twelve bottles of liquor from the possession of two city residents. The accused, Tulsi Ram, resident of Dadu Majra Colony and Lakha Singh, resident of Maloya colony have been arrested. The pouches had been in the possession of Tulsi Ram, while the bottles were recovered from Lakha Singh.Separate cases under the Excise Act have been registered against the accused and further investigations into the matter are on.
