MUMBAI, Oct 23: Chembur English scored a comfortable 2-0 victory over Tata Electric in the MDFA-conducted Harwood football league at the St Xavier's ground, Parel, today.In the second-half, Chembur English started off well and their forwards combined to a nicety. In the 36th minute of the second-half, a good pass by Napolean to Camilo G Fernandes saw the latter beat goalkeeper Chavan with a neat placement.
Camilo also netted the second Chembur English goal, when he beat goalkeeper Chavan with a neat lob following a pass by Bhupendra Rane.
With this victory, Chembur English move to the fifth place on the league ladder. Bandra Packers head the standings with 26 points from 11 games.
In Division III-A, Friends failed to turn up against BPCL Marketing.
