Center-forward Aldrin D'Souza was the peak of the lot as he put them ahead when the game was just 10 minutes old. He collected a ball from Shirao and slammed from a hand shaking distance.
The goal saw cautious moves adopted by both teams and the game was confined to mid-field exchanges, with neither team giving any leeway.
There was a sudden burst from the players of Pimpri, the Rahul SC, but ironically they could not enchash on their moves.
VOBA retaliated with short passes, attacking the goal frequently. The ball moved from one end to the other frequently.
In the 39th minute Vernon D'Souza converted the second goal latching on to a fine pass from his brother Edrin D'Souza from the left flank.
Later in the 45th minute Gordon Atkin rounded up the VOBA's assault.

In the second-half Satish Deodhar equalised for Parshuramians through a solo effort beating a couple of defenders in the process. The tie-breaker was introduced to break the deadlock which saw Satish Deodhar, Sagar Mhasurkar, Atul Wahankar, Nagrajan Purkar and Gopi Lonkar net for Parshuramians while Ganesh Jadhav, Suhas Chaugule, Sudhir Goriwala, Sandeep Mhatre scored for the losers.
