Raval was among the 25-odd Indians who were selected among the representatives to present their papers at the Congress. Speaking to Express Newsline Raval said, ``Papers on various topics related to philosophy were presented in the Congress,'' He added that there were even women scholars from India who presented their papers among others from other parts of the world.

Speaking about his paper Raval said for the Buddha it was the lower self or ego composed of the five aggregates which made up for the mind-body organism of persons. Raval also explained the fact that Pali canonical texts like the Upanishads were scattered throughout with Buddha's utterances.

Raval added that there were 45 sections under which the scholars from various parts of the world presented their papers. The topics included metaphysics, logic and philosophy of logic, other applied ethics, aesthetics and the philosophy of arts, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of religion and philosophy of gender among other topics related to philosophy.
