Salwan marathon

NEW DELHI, October 28: The second GL Salwan memorial inter-school prize money marathon for boys and girls (under-18) will be organised by Salwan Girls School on November 15, at the Salwan School grounds, Rajinder Nagar. The event, recognised by the Amateur Athletic Federation of India, is being conducted by the Delhi State Amateur Athletic Association. The distance for girls will be 3.5 km and for boys 6 kms.The first prize carries an award of Rs 5000, second place Rs 3000 and third place Rs 1000. An overall institutional rolling trophy will be awarded on the basis of maximum number of winners amongst the first 150 students, who completes the marathon. Students who wish to participate may contact the organising secretary or Sunny Joshua , Secretary, DAAA at AAFI office (Room No 1148), JN Stadium, New Delhi. Kenyatta Cup
Christian Sports Ministry of India defeated Afghanistan 4-2 to win the Kenyatta Cup football tournament at Ramjas College here today.
