Houses burgled In a case of theft committed in a house, located in Relief Colony adjoining Harish Petrol Pump on Ajwa Road, cash and ornaments worth Rs 11,150 were stolen. The house-owner Champben Kanchanlal Mohanlal Shah, complained to the police that a woman aged around 30, wearing pink saree, entered her house and stole the cash and goods. In another incident of burglary, Vikas Vidyanandrao, a resident of Calico Mills area, complained to the police that machine spare parts worth Rs 7,900 were stolen from his house by one Bherubhai Nagjibhai Vasava of Bajwa on Wednesday. Investigations in both the cases are on.One killed One Ashok Badrinath, a resident of Hazaribaug district in Bihar, was killed on the National Highway no. 8 after he was run over by a speeding trailer (GJ-01-G-2448) on Wednesday afternoon, the police said. The Chhani police have registered a case of negligent driving against the tanker driver. Woman missing A 23-year-old woman, Linaben Rasloni, a resident of Shivam Society in Padam Park area, under Makarpura police station, is missing since 3 pm on Tuesday, the police said.
