CHANDIGARH, Nov 1: Rajesh Patha's excellent batting (119 off 78 balls) enabled Godrej Cricket club to score a 121-run victory over Gymkhana Cricket Club, Mohali and entered the last four stage of the 22nd JAL Cup league cricket tournament held PGI today.Godrej CC won the toss and elected to bat. Rajesh hit the rival bowlers all over the field. His 119 runs included ten boundaries and three sixes. RP Singh and Arun Tuli also contributed 51 and 25 runs respectively to the team's total. Godrej CC were 212 for 5 in the allotted 25 overs.
Sukhwinder Tinkoo and Banish got two wickets each.
In reply Gymkhana CC were back to the pavilion after a paltry score of 91 runs. Krishan Mohan with 45 runs was the main run getter for the team.
Vinod Binta scalped 4 wickets while Girish Bhanot and Arun Tuli got three and two wickets respectively. The semifinal matches will be played at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium.

Yoga camp concludes
More than 100 participants took part in the yoga camp organised by Divine Life Society in Sector 2, Panchkula.
The camp which began on October 24 concluded today in the evening. Swami Ramrajyam, a yoga expert from Shivanand Ashram, Rishkesh, apprised the participants of the benefit various yoga asanas.
Honour for Azad
The Sports Authority of India has decided to `suitably' reward cricket Dronacharya Desh Prem Azad for his valuable contribution. In a message SAI Executive Director O P Bhatia has asked Kapil Dev's coach to send his colour photograph to be properly placed in the NIS Sports Museum in Patiala. Bhatia appreciated the contribution made by Azad while he was working with the Chandigarh Administration at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium and also Director of the Chandigarh Pace Academy, a joint venture of SAI and Board of Control for Cricket in India.
Bhatia has also assured that whenever Azad would visit NIS Patiala he would be treated a guest of honour.
